Hypix has developed scores of eLearning systems for continuing education and training for leading trade associations and companies throughout North America. The following case studies explore the training system requirements along with the deliverables and results provided by our team.
The Geriatric Psychiatry Self-Assessment Program (GPSAP) helps psychiatrists meet their continuing medical education needs through an intuitive web-based interface. GPSAP includes over 400 questions, discussions of each question, detailed references, and related multimedia (charts, tables, illustrations and more). The software also contains enhanced features, such as: sorting questions by subset (incorrect, unanswered, media), full-text searching, performance summary, an integrated Help system, bookmarking & notes, multiple modes of learning including exam simulation, and more.
Team Hypix offered solutions for GPSAP such as: strategy and planning; user interface graphic design concept and production; programming; asset integration; processing images; writing all Help text; and coordinating professional compatibility testing. The American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry created all the assessment content (questions, discussions, references) and provided all multimedia elements which support the content (illustrations and graphics).

Developed for the American College of Surgeons, the Surgical Education and Self-Assessment Program (SESAP) helps surgeons meet their continuing medical education needs through an interactive website. SESAP includes 830 questions in 25 specialty categories and sub-categories, discussions of each question, thousands of detailed references including abstracts and web links, and associated images (X-rays, photographs and more). The software also contains enhanced features, such as: sorting questions by subset (incorrect, unanswered, and media), full-text searching, performance summary, an integrated Help system, bookmarking & notes, and more. After users have completed all questions, they can easily submit their data to ACS and then print a customized certificate of completion from within the program. Users can elect to claim credit either by category as they go, or once at the end after completing all categories.
The Hypix team provided services that included: strategy and planning; user interface graphic design concept and production; programming; asset integration; obtaining online medical references; processing images; writing all Help text; and coordinating professional compatibility testing. The American College of Surgeons created all the assessment content (questions, discussions, references) and provided all multimedia elements which support the content (photos, illustrations, video, narration for slide shows, etc.).
